WE PRAY FOR CALASANZ
Calasanz leads the expedition with one thought mind in mind: to fill every corner of the planet with “Piedad y Letras” (Compassion and Literacy). Its arrival in America aims to encourage the universal right to education, and places value on the role of young people who participate in the Calasanz Centres in Aracaju (Brazil), Campeche (Mexico), Cochabamba (Bolivia), Barquisimeto (Venezuela) ) and La Puya (Dominican Republic).
It encourages us to pray every morning when we start our work in our centres. For that purpose, it puts forward five prayers that we can alternate throughout the days of the campaign, ending the prayer with the Lord’s Prayer and/or a “Hail Mary” in one of the languages spoken in the countries in which the solidarity campaign takes place.
