Globalization is a complex and dynamic process that affects different spheres: the economy, society, trade, migration, cultural manifestations, etc. In a world in which the link between the local and the global is ever greater, we have to assume that we have to work in our closest context to modify the most global context. We bet for a model of horizontal solidarity, of equal to equal, that pursues the interest for the well-being of the other individuals of the society that we feel as our equals.

Objetivos:

  • Listen and accept the invitation of Jesus Christ to work for the construction of the Kingdom of God.  
  • Feel loved and valued by God and our brothers and sisters. 
  • Be aware of all action adds in the Piarist work for the social transformation. 

Change and transformation

Objetivos:

  • Know some of the projects of Itaka-Escolapios that work for the social transformation in their environment or country. Such as those of Mozambique and Venezuela.  
  • Raise a community action with which to economically support the solidarity campaign of Itaka-Escolapios.

Objetivos:

  • Get involved in the environmental care through a community action to which other groups or Piarist communities are invited.

Objetivos:

  • Dar al alumnado una visión general sobre qué son los ODS y acercarlos a su realidad.
  • Fomentar su compromiso con los ODS.

Calasanz y los ODS

Objetivos:

  • Conocer los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible comparándolos con la situación en la época de Calasanz.
  • Reflexionar sobre el avance en estos ODS, entonces y ahora.
  • Reflexionar sobre qué hacía Calasanz al respecto (aunque no se llamasen ODS).

Calasanz y el derecho a la educación

Objetivos:

  • Actualizar una carta de Calasanz a la vida del alumnado de Secundaria y Bachillerato.
  • Reflexionar sobre distintos aspectos de la educación en el momento actual a partir de dicha carta.
  • Profundizar sobre la importancia de la educación y las diferencias y similitudes a través de la historia.

Objetivos:

  • Reflect on the concept of solidarity.
  • Work on the relationship between empathy and solidarity.
  • Make suggestions on the change of environment.
  • Be aware of our responsibility with the needed change.

Chain of Favours

Objetivos:

  • Realize the small actions in favor of others can change the world.
  • Start and spread a pay it forward from the closest environment (school, family, friends...).
