“Everyone has the right to education.” This is how article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights begins. This article gives each person the right to receive an education that must be accessible (eliminating all forms of discrimination in access to it), available (must be free), acceptable (quality) and adaptable (must be adapted to each student). Education is the principal means by which every person can develop his or her abilities, skills and participate actively in society. This is why it is a “gateway” right: it is the gateway to all other rights (such as the right to health or the right to work); it is indispensable for fighting poverty and inequality, for achieving sustainable development, etc.

Change and transformation

Objetivos:

  • Know some of the projects of Itaka-Escolapios that work for the social transformation in their environment or country. Such as those of Mozambique and Venezuela.  
  • Raise a community action with which to economically support the solidarity campaign of Itaka-Escolapios.

Experiment SHARE

Objetivos:

  • Be aware of the injustice in terms of the unequal distribution of resources in the world.  
  • Reflect on detachment and a natural and human stance based on sharing.  
  • Modify some habits to avoid food waste.  
  • Know the gospel better.

Objetivos:

  • Dar al alumnado una visión general sobre qué son los ODS y acercarlos a su realidad.
  • Fomentar su compromiso con los ODS.

Concurso “Infancia Indestructible”

Objetivos:

  • Recoger todo lo aprendido durante las sesiones de este proyecto
  • Reflexionar sobre qué educación queremos y cómo podemos colaborar para lograrla
  • Hacer una actividad conjunta de todos los centros educativos que hayan seguido el proyecto

La educación a juicio

Objetivos:

  • Comparar la situación de la educación en diferentes países
  • Reflexionar sobre todo lo que queda por hacer en el mundo para conseguir de verdad el cumplimiento del ODS4.

Avanza por la educación (juego)

Objetivos:

  • Reflexionar sobre las dificultades o facilidades que tenemos para acceder a una educación de calidad según nuestra procedencia y decisiones.
